Diarcy Technologies is pleased to announce our line of Frequency Standards with optional PPS Output. All electronic products require precise control of parameters to operate properly. These Frequency Sources and Frequency Standards maintain a high degree of frequency accuracy and stability at a reasonable cost. These products can increase the frequency accuracy 5000x aided by the timing accuracies available from the GPS satellite system. Just tell us what frequency output you need. We can usually set it to within 0.1 Hz of your needs, while maintaining that accuracy to a few parts per billion (PPB) stability. Internal oscillators used in commercial test equipment, while usually very stable, are only accurate to 25 PPM (parts per million) or about 250 Hz error for a 10 MHz frequency reference. One PPB (part per billion) at 10 MHz is 0.01 Hz — how good is the frequency reference you’re using now? These Frequency Sources and Frequency Standards can be used as Calibration Standards, Laboratory Signal Generators, as Synchronization Sources, Cellular Base Station References, Phased-locked loop reference signals, and more. The frequency can be tailored to your needs, typically to within 0.1 Hz of your desired frequency. Frequency Stabilities are on the order of 5 ppb (parts per billion) or less after just a few minutes warm-up time. GPS Disciplined Oscillators (GPS-DO) from 1 to 5 OutputsOutput frequency is set to your specifications within the range of 4 MHz to 35 MHz. These sources are constantly being updated based on GPS timing signals. Cold start accuracy typically better than 1 ppm and will quickly settle to within tens of ppb's in just a few minutes. For best accuracy, GPS signals should be active for at least 30 minutes. Once unit is calibrated, it will continue to make corrections throughout the day. If GPS signal is removed after this initial calibration, unit will continue to hold frequency accuracy to within 10 ppb per day, typically much better depending on environmental conditions. Unit is available with a single front-mounted output or multiple (three or five) rear-mounted outputs. Each output's amplitude can be set at time of manufacture to match test equipment reference signal requirements. Standard frequency output is 10 MHz sine wave at 0 dBm into a 50 Ω load.10 MHz Frequency Standard (DS-1000)Custom Frequency Standard in the range of 4MHz to 35MHz (DS-2000)Single Output models have their frequency output on the front panel. Multiple Output models have their frequency outputs on the rear panel. Also available with PPS Output.
